Guljan Nurmuradova
Guljan Nurmuradova is a nationally board certified Acupuncturist through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the state of Connecticut. She trained at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science University, graduating with a Master of Acupuncture degree. Guljan’s focus is on providing her patients with thorough, individualized, and comprehensive care, treating a variety of conditions and symptoms. She has a particular interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine’s focus on prevention and ability to promote optimum health despite the many demands and challenges of a busy lifestyle. Guljan delights in her work and is fully committed to helping people feel their best!
Guljan initially discovered the benefits of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine seven years ago after struggling with depression. Treated solely with acupuncture and Chinese herbs, she experienced first-hand the profound, rapid relief and healing ability of the medicine. Her experience so moved Guljan that she dedicated her career to becoming a master of Chinese medicine.
Guljan loves learning languages and is fluent in Russian and Turkmen languages and is currently learning Spanish. In her spare time she loves to hike, travel, and cook .
Guljan has experience working with a wide range of individuals including athletes, geriatrics, veterans, and community members of all ages. She believes in working compassionately with patients to give them comfort, hope, and empowerment through TCM. Guljan’s goal is always to discover and treat the root cause of her patients’ symptoms, going above and beyond in helping patients achieve the quality of life that they desire.
